The Huum stove stands out for its contemporary aesthetic and considered construction, combining functionality with outstanding design. Its open structure holds a large volume of stones, which retain heat longer and produce a pleasantly soft, deeply relaxing steam.

The sauna and outdoor tub ritual
The sauna and the outdoor spa tub are continuations of each other. This is a simple way to combine them — none of it is obligatory, but this is how the evening flows best.

1. The sauna heats up
The open structure of the Huum stove holds a large volume of stones, so the heat is even and the steam gentle. The first round is usually the shortest — 10 to 15 minutes is enough for the body to settle in.

2. The outdoor tub cools you
The outdoor spa tub is kept at 37–39 °C and is included in the nightly rate, so you can use it without limit. After a hot sauna the water feels cool — and that swing between extremes is what does the work.

3. Rest on the terrace
Between rounds it is worth stepping out onto the 18 m² terrace facing the Teiči Nature Reserve. In winter that is short and sharp; in summer it stays light until late. Towels and robes are already waiting in the cabin.

Can the sauna be combined with the outdoor tub?
Yes, and that is exactly what we recommend. The outdoor spa hot tub (37–39 °C) is always included in the nightly rate and available without limit, so you can use it before the sauna, between rounds and afterwards.
What should we bring?
Almost nothing. Towels, robes, bed linen and toiletries are included in the nightly rate. If you want sauna whisks or particular sauna infusions, bring them yourself — the nearest shops are on the way, in Varakļāni.
