Kristakrūgs viewing tower

The Kristakrūgs viewing tower is 27 metres high, and from the top a wide panorama opens over the Teiči Nature Reserve — one of the largest bog complexes in the Baltics. The tower sits by the Jēkabpils–Rēzekne highway, 7 km or 8 minutes from the cabin. It is especially striking early in the morning, when mist lies over the bog.
